The Easiest Pineapple Bake

This recipe is incredibly simple and results in a sweet, buttery, and delicious dessert.

Ingredients You’ll Need:
For the Pineapple Base:
1 can (20 oz) pineapple slices, packed in juice (reserve the juice – very important!)
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup unsalted butter (melted, for the pan)
For the Cake Topping:
1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix (plus ingredients called for on the box – usually eggs and oil/butter)
½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
The reserved pineapple juice from the can
