Honey Butter Sweet

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan. Alternatively, you can line the pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, finely chopped pecans (reserve some for topping, if desired), and salt (if using). Whisk to ensure the ingredients are evenly distributed.
Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, beaten eggs, vanilla extract, and honey.
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently fold until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. A few lumps are okay.
Pour into Pan: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly. If desired, sprinkle the reserved chopped pecans over the top.
Bake: Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs attached.
