Step 1: Prepare the Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm milk, warm water, melted butter, sugar, dry yeast, and eggs. Whisk until everything is well incorporated.
Gradually add 690 g of flour and salt to the mixture. Stir until a cohesive dough forms.
Step 2: Divide and Knead
Divide the dough into two equal halves.
To one half, add the extra 30 g of flour and knead until you achieve a soft, smooth texture. Cover and let it rest in a warm place until it doubles in size.
To the other half, add 20 g of cocoa powder. Knead until fully combined and smooth. Let it rest alongside the other dough.
Step 3: Roll and Layer
Once both doughs have risen, gently roll them out on a floured surface. Start with the yellow dough (the base) and lay the chocolate dough on top.
Spread a few tablespoons of dulce de leche over the chocolate dough and sprinkle chocolate chips on one side.
