For optimal crispiness, soak the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes. This removes excess starch and helps the fries become crispier. After soaking, drain and pat them dry thoroughly with a towel.

Season the Potatoes:
In a large bowl, combine the cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix well to combine. Add the cut potatoes to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
