Once the strawberries have macerated, transfer the mixture to a countertop blender. Blend until completely pureed and smooth.
To remove the seeds for a smoother lemonade, strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve into a clean bowl or pitcher, using a spoon to help push the liquid through.
Mix the Lemonade:
In a large pitcher, combine the strawberry puree with the remaining 1 ¾ cups of lemon juice and 4 cups of cold water. Stir well to incorporate.
Taste the mixture; if it’s too sweet or concentrated, gradually add up to 1 additional cup of water until you reach your desired flavor.
