Prepare Oreo Crust (if not pre-made): If you’re making your own crust, crush about 2 cups of Oreo cookies in a food processor or in a bag with a rolling pin. Mix the crushed Oreos with 5 tablespoons of melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a pie plate. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
Make Chocolate Pudding: In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until smooth. Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken slightly.
Cream Cheese Mixture: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth and creamy using an electric mixer.
Combine Mixtures: Gently fold the thickened chocolate pudding into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
Fold in Oreos and Whipped Topping: Fold in ¾ cup of the crushed Oreo cookies and 1 cup of whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
Pour into Crust: Pour the filling into the prepared Oreo pie crust.
Chill:
