Hazelnut and Chocolate Mousse Dessert

Step 1: Prepare the Biscuit Base
Crush the Biscuits:

Place the plain biscuits in a food processor and pulse until they become fine crumbs. Alternatively, you can place them in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
Combine with Butter:

In a mixing bowl, combine the biscuit crumbs with the melted butter. Mix until all the crumbs are fully coated and the mixture resembles wet sand.
Press into Serving Dish:

Choose individual serving glasses or a medium-sized tart pan. Press the biscuit mixture firmly into the bottom to form an even layer. Chill in the refrigerator while you prepare the mousse.
Step 2: Make the Hazelnut Mousse
Whip the Cream:

In a large mixing bowl, pour the well-chilled heavy whipping cream. Using an electric mixer, whip the cream until soft peaks form. Make sure to stop just before reaching stiff peaks to maintain the lightness of the mousse.
