Get Started:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan to prevent the cake from sticking.
Bake the Cake:
Prepare the white cake mix according to the package directions.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for the time indicated on the box, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely in the pan. This is important so the soaking liquids absorb evenly.
Poke and Soak:
Use a fork or wooden skewer to poke holes all over the surface of the cooled cake, about 1/2 inch apart.
In a bowl, combine the cream of coconut and sweetened condensed milk. Stir until well blended.
Slowly pour the coconut milk mixture over the cake, making sure to saturate it evenly. The cake will seem very wet, but it will absorb the liquid as it chills.
