Prepare the Mixture:
In a high-speed food processor, combine the pitted dates, walnuts, oats, chia seeds, flaxseeds, and maple syrup. Blend until the mixture is well combined and sticky. You want a texture that holds together but still has some chunks for added texture.
Line the Baking Dish:
Line a square baking dish (8×8 inches works well) with parchment paper. This will make it easier to remove the bars once they’re set.
Press into the Dish:
Transfer the sticky mixture into the prepared dish. With damp hands or the back of a spatula, press it firmly into an even layer. Make sure it’s tightly packed so the bars hold their shape once cut.
