Step 1: Prepare the Batter
Mix the Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the pancake mix, mashed banana, milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Whisk together until the batter is smooth and well combined. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to thicken while you heat the oil.
Step 2: Heat the Oil
Heat the Oil: In a deep skillet or frying pan, pour enough oil to fill the pan at least 2 inches deep—about 2-3 cups. Heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). You can test the oil by dropping a small spoonful of batter into it; if it sizzles and rises to the surface, it’s ready.
Step 3: Coat the Oreos
Coat the Oreos: Using a fork or tongs, dip each Oreo cookie into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated. Allow any excess batter to drip off.
Step 4: Fry the Oreos
Fry the Cookies: Carefully drop the coated Oreos into the hot oil. Fry them in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown. Flip them with a slotted spoon or tongs for even cooking.

Drain Excess Oil: Once fried, use a slotted spoon to remove the deep-fried Oreos from the oil. Place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
