Ingredients:
1 package (about 50) square wonton wrappers
8 ounces imitation crab meat, finely chopped (or real crab meat, if you prefer!)
16 ounces (2 packages) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
5 green onions, thinly sliced (both white and green parts)
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional, but adds a nice flavor)
1/4 teaspoon white pepper (optional, for a more authentic flavor, but black pepper works too)
1 large egg, beaten (for sealing the wontons)
Vegetable oil, for frying (or peanut oil, if you’re not allergic)
Sweet chili sauce or duck sauce, for serving (optional)
